One evening a member of the public found an abandoned and neglected dog in a woodland cemetery, he was only about a year old. His leg was catastrophically broken, he was underweight and riddled in fleas. They brought him to the surgery for emergency treatment but his leg was so badly broken it required amputation. Even with his injuries, this young dog was so friendly and loving he found a place in our hearts, and we decided to carry out his treatment for free. We are pleased to say that this bouncy chap is now 2 weeks post surgery and hasn’t looked back. He has adopted our head receptionist Rachel, and has now taken up permanent residence on her sofa. We can safely say that he will now spend the rest of his life in the lap of luxury!
