Our practice is growing and so we are seeking a new Trainee Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.

You will be working alongside the current team of 7 qualified veterinary nurses and 2 senior trainee veterinary nurses. This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses when treating animals, cleaning, walking and feeding inpatients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

You must be a fast learner, think on your feet and enjoy being part of a busy working environment. This can be a really rewarding role where you will play a crucial part in helping our patients live happier and healthier lives.

The position will require you to work 38 hours a week and is paid in line with National Living Wage . We encourage career development and after one year of working in Practice, you will have the opportunity to begin your fully funded Advanced Apprenticeship Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. The successful candidate must hold the suitable entry qualifications (five GCSEs at level 4 or higher including English language, mathematics and a science subject).

Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.
